Overall dimensions: 14 ft. width x 7 ft. height x 3 ft. deep.
Each front plate is 15” x 15” – ample room for engraved names & dates.
Niche size, 12” x 12” x 12” (inside dimensions), space for 2-3 inurnments each.
(Thus a 100 niche columbarium has capacity for 200 to 300 inurnments.)

The De Giulio columbarium is truly innovative in design and functionality. The cover plate of each niche is nested within a solid surface frame, thereby providing individualized access to each niche secured with tamper-resistant fasteners. (Special tool is provided for access.) For added security a double-door access system leaves one door in place while the front cover plate is being engraved. This system allows for better control and ease of operation by cemetery personnel during the inurnment process.

More tensile strength than granite, CORIAN is superior in endurance and performance.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION: CORIAN, a DuPont product, is ideal for exterior use. Seamless and monolithic in appearance, the product is weather-resistant (even to extreme wind-thaw conditions); resistant to chemicals, detergents, and environmental pollutants. Unlike granite, CORIAN is non-porous, repels moisture, and is easy to keep clean and maintain – graffiti and mars are easily removed by washing or sanding. Aesthetically pleasing in any environment, CORIAN, offered in more than 100 colors and finishes, may be shaped into intricate architectural details. (FREE color samples.)

Winter cold or summer heat do not affect the CORIAN cupola with CORIAN crosses atop Mt. Kelly Cemetery Chapel in Dearborn, Michigan. The altar on the interior was also made by De Giulio Industries.

We, at De Giulio Industries, have been fabricating CORIAN for commercial and residential structures for 35 years. We are not the first. Many firms, in many countries, have used this DuPont product, which carries a warranty of 10 years. Lighter and stronger than granite, with excellent impact resistance, CORIAN is being used for the exterior of commercial buildings; manufacturing of outdoor furniture; even playground furniture (as by Play Site Architecture, photo at left.) Quarried stone (granite) is porous; it may have hidden flaws. CORIAN is engineered to be uniform and homogenous; even the color runs all the way through. CORIAN is a perfect cladding material for a columbarium where durability and aesthetics are paramount.
